How To Treat A Bee Sting

How To Treat A Bee Sting.

1. Take the stinger out with a credit card edge or something similar,  as soon as you can. If the stinger is still in your body, the venom will continue to spread.

2. Clean the sting site with soap and water. Put honey
or vinegar on the wound and cover with a loose bandage.

3. Use Ibuprofen Motrin or Benadryl to help with the pain.  You can get these from your local hospital or pharmacy.

4. Monitor for allergic reactions. Allergies from bee stings can come  minutes after a sting or hours. Some symptoms of allergies include swollen areas, vomiting, itching, dizziness, and hives.

Over The Toilet Bowl

Over The Toilet Bowl.

As I lent over the white toilet bowl a gross substance crept up my throat and burst out my mouth. I quickly flushed the substance down the toilet. I rinsed the disgusting after taste out of my mouth.I walked out into the lounge.
I lay on the couch feeling weak and sick. Watching TV, I smell all the good smell in the kitchen, I’m hungry. I get off the couch and go hunting for food. I satisfy my hunger and fall asleep.

Not all bullies are big. Bullying is when someone acts purposefully in a mean way. It can be physical and it can be emotional. Bullies bully because they want attention, and think they are cool. Some bullies you can’t see, these are called cyber-bullies. Cyber-bullies are people who bully online.

Experts believe that 75% of children in the United States have been bullied at one point in time. Being bullied sometimes makes the person being bullied bully someone else.

The way to treat your Chromebook right

My Comic Strip.

Comic strips are a clever way of telling stories that combine pictures and a small number of sentences.

Our WALT was to Come up with ways to use our Chromebooks appropriately .

To succeed in making this we had to:

1.  Use at least 4 ideas of ways to use our devices Appropriately

2. each idea must have a picture representing what we were saying.

3.
And we had to use speech bubbles to explain what to do and what not to do.

Do you agree on what I said?

What is Matariki.

Matariki is the cluster of stars the Pleiades , they rise in winter and maori celebrate as a new year. In maori Matariki means ¨eyes of God¨ or ¨little eyes¨. According to maori legend , when Ranginui and Papatuanuku were separated Tawhirimatea took his eyes out and threw them into the sky.

Matariki was a time of celebrating death and new life. In the 21st century Matariki became popular again and people celebrate it with kites, hot air balloons, and fireworks. The upcoming dates of Matariki are the 15th of June and in 2019 it is to be celebrated on the 10th of June.
