The way they chose the new Wonders of the World were the buildings had to be made by humans, they had to have architectural value and they had to be well preserved.

These wonders are special because they are ancient pieces of art that have made people wonder ever since they were built.

This year Brazil has had around 72,000 wildfires and around half of those have been in the Amazon rainforest. This means every minute, one and a half soccer fields of the Amazon rainforest are being burned. Since this has happened an 80% increase in deforestation has occurred this year. Many scientists say that it could irreversibly turn into a dry savanna.

These fires can cause a lot of impact to global warming, as the forest produces 20% of the worlds oxygen. The Amazon constitutes 25% of carbon sink globally, so losing it to the atmosphere is a huge problem towards global warming the smoke from the fires are visible from space.

Digestive System

In our class, we had a task to write an informative report on the digestive system. The report had to include most of the body parts in the digestive system, and what they do to help the body. 🍔🍟

Digestive System 

The Digestive System is one of the many systems in our body. It is a very important system, as it keeps our body filled with energy. The Digestive System is made up of hollow organs. The first is the Esophagus.

When you smell food your Digestive System is already working as it creates Saliva to clear all the bad things in our food. Once your food has been broken down it flows down your Esophagus. It then transports food and water to your stomach.

Moving on to the Stomach. The Stomach is one of the bigger organs in the Digestive System

It receives all the food from the Esophagus it is filled with acid which dissolves the food you eat. The mashed up mixture is then transported to the small intestine.

The small intestine is the longest organ in the digestive system because when it is fully stretched out it is roughly 6 metres long. The small intestine's job is to absorb the nutrients from the food we eat and turns it into energy. From here the food mixture is carried to the large intestine.

The large intestine is smaller than the small intestine by a long shot, but is just as important. The large intestine absorbs the water and the remaining mixture is transformed into feces.

The Anus is the last part of the digestive system. The Anus tells your body whether or not the mixture is a liquid, gas or a solid. The last step is to dispose the mixture as feces.

Newspaper Article 

In our class, we had a task to create a Newspaper Article on

anything we wanted. But we had to add certain words into the 

article. These are the words we had to use:
grateful, bank, banknotes, disaster, helpers, honest, flurry 

and recovered. 

I teamed up with my classmates Andrew and Kaden. This
